TABLE NOTES: The results presented in Table 4 suggest that alpha decay may be occurring in Fleschmann Ponn's experiments, and that alpha particles may be the source of Helium-4 measurements in the gas phase output from those experiments. This would also explain the random nature of 42He observations, and why helium production is not well correlated with total heat production.

This table begins the search for possible -decay reactions in cold fusion experiments by testing the feasibility of -decay of the six Nickle isotopes present in Miley's nickel microspheres. The results indicate that -decay of all six nickel isotopes is possible.
